ReadyRenter ("we," "us") is a renter coaching and education service based in San Diego, California. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We've kept it in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

When you use our pre-qualification chat, we may collect your first name and, if you request our free roadmap, your email address. When you purchase coaching, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we receive your name, email, and confirmation of payment, but we never see or store your card number. During coaching, you may choose to share details about your income, rental history, or credit situation so we can coach you effectively; that information stays between you and your coach.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver the coaching you purchased, send you the emails you asked for (welcome materials, your roadmap, scheduling), and improve our coaching methods using anonymized patterns — never your name or identifying details. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with landlords, screening companies, or data brokers. Your story is yours to present; that principle runs through everything we do, including this policy.

Service providers we rely on

We use a small number of established providers to run ReadyRenter: Stripe (payments), Klaviyo (email), Airtable (internal records), and our website host. Each receives only what it needs to do its job and is bound by its own privacy and security commitments.

Cookies and local storage

Our coaching portal saves your checklist progress in your own browser's local storage — it stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. We may use basic analytics to count visits and understand which pages help people most.

Testimonials

Client stories appear on our site only with signed permission. If you've given permission and change your mind, email us and we'll remove your story.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails with one click at any time. California residents may request a copy of the personal information we hold about them, or its deletion, by emailing us — we'll respond within the timelines California law provides. We honor these requests for everyone, not just Californians.

Young people

ReadyRenter is for adults entering rental agreements. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
